you can usually hear them comming b-4 they get in the area. Helicopters make alot of noise

Gas demand is down with the economy tanking. Refineries are reducing gasoline production. Less gas supply makes for higher prices. As of the other day I heard refineries were at 83% production. Many are going into maintenance stand down early due to the low demand.

No doubt all the 'middlemen' are taking a couple of extra pennies here and there as well.. after all "$1.70 gas is still cheaper than $3.70 gas"

About 2 months ago when oil was $70 a barrel and gas was selling for $1.85, I was feeling pretty optimistic about the future price of gas. Now that oil is $35 a barrel and gas is up to $1.85 again, I'm just MAD!

You think the oil companies made huge profits in 2008, just wait till you see their profits in 2009.

About 2 months ago when oil was $70 a barrel and gas was selling for $1.85, I was feeling pretty optimistic about the future price of gas. Now that oil is $35 a barrel and gas is up to $1.85 again, I'm just MAD!

Its just simply supply and demand like they say. When demand goes up, the price goes up. Now that demand is down........ the price is going back up.

I was thinking that the government is broke already. When they spend this money they don't have, the next time the economy goes under because of $4.00 gallon gas, nobody may be willing to accept their IOU.

At the risk of being told I dont have any idea. I will accept that as I really don't. Where is the money coming form for this bailout? Are they borrowing from other places .like countries? printing new money? Or is there a secret 'kitty' full of it somewhere?
Sorry but I simply don't understand I realize there will be debt but to who. how is this money backed up?
