Maybe they've disappeared too?

Edit: I just googled Bulldog loaders and LCI are still selling them so?

That's our point. THey also still list them on Lucky Tractor Website out of Vietnam. So since the company still exists and they still use that branded loader where are they selling them too? That is the question we had. Its not the US since they still label the tractors according to their site as "Yanmar" and I do not see the bulldog loaders like I use to on the refurbs, aslo like Winston pointed out the big LCI place in Texas closed up.

Maybe that not many Vn refurbs are going all over the world like they were so not many new refurbs showing up with Bulldog loaders on them?

I don't think anything from LCI is entering the US any more.

A few posts up, I Googled 'LCI Yanmar' and most of the hits were the lawsuit by Yanmar-USA against several refurb importers.

The result of the lawsuit was only Fredricks was allowed to continue using Yanmar's logo to promote their refurbs. I think everyone else had to pay damages for unauthorized use of the trademarked logo. If the damages were per tractor, the judgement against LCI must have been substantial.

They allow the market of them now under YMN tractor??? I guess those are the other company that was an importer?

Good luck getting them to pay out of VN! They did other tractors like Iseki and Mitsubishi, do they no longer import those

Congratulations. :cool2: Most times the shoes can be turned around and get another 30 years. Inspection would be necessary to know what is needed.
I intend to get into the brakes on the YM2000 I recently bought. Winston1, could you or anyone explain what you meant by "most times shoes can be turned around and get another 30 years." Specifically explain "turned around."

The shoes are symmetrical, you can put them in any way you like - 'upside down', swap leading/trailing shoe, whatever.

A cam rotates to shove the shoe out against the drum. The end of the shoe nearest the cam gets the greatest wear. So re-install each shoe with its opposite end nearest the cam. And if the two shoes on one side have unequal wear, swap them.

Now you're good for another 30 years.

Added:
The 'live' cam from the brake pedal contacts one end of each shoe. The opposite end of the shoes rests on a fixed cam that can be rotated a quarter turn to move that end of the shoes outward. This might be needed if the adjuster rod from the pedal to the brakes doesn't have much more adjustment left.

I think I even include the specs on lining thickness in the later thread and drum thickness. I took it to an ex coworkers shop to have them put it on the lathe. Turned out he couldn't chuck it up no matter what he tried. So he just hit it with a flap disk and got the drum resurfaced good enough to last my lifetime.

Yep. I was grateful for the time he tried, but in the end I could of done the same thing..but oh well. That guy restores old Cat and JD tractors....to amazing quality! I trust his work.

He takes the tractors down to the bolts any parts not availible after extensive searches he will make in his shop if able, like bronze bushings and stuff.
