Re: Yanmar 3110D RPM\'s

thanks. I followed the others advice and I just kinda went by sound and common sense where to stop. It ended up being right around 2200 so I guess I did okay. Now if I could just be sure my temp indicator is working I will be good to go.

If I remember correctly, If you ground the wire going to the sensor to the block , the light should come on as the light is hot when the ign. switch is turned on so, all that is needed is a ground.

Re: Yanmar 3110D RPM\'s

I had the same concern with my YM3000. I never saw the temp light so I was always concerned about overheating until one day.... I had replaced the belt and lost some coolant. I didn't think I had lost much so I added some water. Well I didn't add enough and low and behold there it was my temp light came on!!!! I let it cool off added more water and haven't seen it since. But I'm glad to know it works. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
