I'm sorry, that was just wrong.
I remembered something my father taught me years ago, and I want to teach it to my son.
It was a good saying "A fool and his money will soon part, because instead of buying a Deere, he bought 1 Cub Cadet 2Bolens 3 Kubotas". JC
And the best part, is that if and when he responds, we can't see it because he's on our ignore list! :) What a great feature! :)

It's small enough that I can make a carrier and tote it around on the 3 pt behind the 4520.

Please don't forget to post a picture of that when your done. Good luck with the wife.:)

Cidertom, I just got back from a trip with the terriers, and see that this thread may have played out. Nevertheless, I'll throw in my 2cents, just because I think the 2305 is the perfect crossing between mower and tractor. It's a mowing animal but has done every smoothing, grading, lifting, carrying, and pulling job I've given it (except for that locust stump that won't move). I'd highly recommend a foldable rops, as my wife did as much tree as grass trimming her first few times out. I'd also recommend loading the tires, even for mowing, unless your ground tends toward mushy or it's flat as a table.

Glen, I totally agree that Deere has, perhaps, the perfect compromise tractor in the 2210/2305. I also recommend a folding ROPS (but with the wisdom to know when to fold it down and when not to), and loading the tires or some kind of ballast is mandatory. :)
