. . . I should be cutting and baling some hay within the next few days. I will do my best to get some pics posted.
Got 'er done!!! 23 rolls from the Coastal Bermuda patch, and 52 rolls from the Bahaia fields. Pictures below, as promised. :D

Just a little update on the hay fields.

My son and I removed all of the rolls from the fields this morning. The Coastal went into the barn. (it's primo horse hay to be sold) The Bahaia that wasn't sold Saturday went out front by the highway. I'll be selling it cheap because it was a first cutting and had a lot of dead volunteer winter grass and weeds in it.

After lunch, I went to the fertilizer supplier and got a 4 tons in a buggy. Had to put it out in the rain!!! Glad to have that cab tractor. We got 2.5" of rain on my fertilize.

Should have another good cutting in about 4 weeks.

Here is most of my equipment, not as impressive as some but all functional. My plan, if it ever quits raining, is to bale about 5-6 acres this year and next year about 35. It has been about 12 years since the last time I helped my dad bale so I'm a bit rusty. I've been reading the manuals for the equipment, reading online, and just generally brushing up trying to be prepared. Anyway enough rambling here are some pictures of the equipment as I was getting it out, checked out, and greased.
