Actually a business that goes around and planes butcher block type surfaces in restaurant kitchens.

Two other interesting projects were an ice melter for the City of Toronto with numerous Onan Diesel sets. It got scrapped for not being GREEN!

And a mobile Billboard.

Winds here died down. Not a flicker in the tricity. -13 c. Had genny on 10 min on, 20 off block heater as well as trickle charger/tender. Curious to touch block and see how toasty it is. Will strap on some ice cleats, head out into the cold and tell her she can stand down! Maybe next time.

Well I screwed up. Stone cold! I had plugged in the diesel tank heater which I have never used. No doubt it would have started, but I would have felt foolish!

A tourist (pre-Covid/GPS joke) is visiting NYC and is looking for directions. He see's a famous violinist on the street and asks him "How do I get to Carnegie Hall ?".

"Practice" was the response.

:) you did accomplish something yesterday, after all.....

Well, yesterday, power went out. It was a plan outage ( snow plow it a pole earlt this week and it needed to be replace).

But I needed some power to ger the old massey 165 going for snow clearing.

Last time my eu2000i ran was december.

I could not get it to start.

Drop the gasoline, put some new fresh suprême in it, and fisrt pull it qas a go, then I could ger the massey going and start the process for major snow clearing ( we got a storm this week, 40cm and high wind). The provincial hwy by my place was close for 2 days straight.

I really beed to start looking for ethanol free gasoline in my neigborhood.

And I really need to do some qork on the old massey, so it can start qhen it s cold !

Man, there is no substitute for QUALITY! I'm surprised it's not 1200 RPMs. Thanks for the treat.

No idea, they made those engines from the 40's till 95.
Looking at the control panel and switches I would guess 60's or newer.

Some of us have zero option for ethanol free unless we buy quarts or gallons...

I'm in Ontario. Same winds recently, but not much snow........ you would have had mondo drifts to clear after that storm. Pretty bad if the main highway was closed that long. If it's bad enough that they have to bring in blowers to clear the highway, that takes a while......

Even with Efree, I always use at least Stabil in my small engine fuel (lately Marine Blue 360). I've been buying my EFree at Costco, but there may not be one near you. I did recently notice Canadian Tire posting EFree High Test at a pump near work, but I don't know how regional that is with CTC.....

As one or more people have posted on here, aviation gasoline is supposed to be be Low Lead without ethanol, but I'd confirm what it is if/when you buy it at a small regional airport. Aviation LL can not be used with any equipment that has a catalytic converter though.

Winter conditions here can be very serious...... we always want them to run, but Winter is pretty much the worst time for No-Start (n)
