I do need another pump source... fingers crossed, I can find one.

Tried using efree.org (something like that) earlier this year, found a listing about 30 minutes from home. Confusing signage, bought their 91+ anyway.... followed up with Mobil afterwards..... sounds like they had gone over to the dark-side too.....

Ugh hopefully more pop up closer to you. I do live in a more rural area, maybe that makes a difference but I have 5 stations all within a few miles of me with 91 Rec Fuel now. Could be because Im also in a big boating area too, boaters dont run regular gas usually.

i live surrounded by lakes. boats need non ethanol fuel, so more and more are popping up. i used to have to travel about 24 miles to town to get it, now there are 2 stations within 8 minutes of me that carry it.

I started getting my EtOH free fuel from a Coen station close to the PIT airport. Now I am in the Youngstown, OH area and need to find another station. Some Sheetz locations also sell EtOH free gas. I need to check them out.

Guess i could get a second job, and save up to buy marina-gas ! OTOH, probably not worse than VP in cans....

Take it out every once in a while, and put a load on it.

Non ethanol fuel here is $0.60 higher than cheapest ethanol fuel. Actually supreme ethanol is higher than non ethanol here.

check the level and condition of the gearbox oil, lightly lube the pto shaft and scope it in and out.
You may wish to disassemble the housing tins once in awhile and check for insects and other vermin.

for the little any of us actually run our gasoline gens, I think whatever the bump in cost for E0 is worth it. It stores so much better.
Thank goodness for clean propane.
No E0 anywhere around me in Eastern PA.
I was so spoiled in NC, 93 octane E0, had 22 engines of various sizes to maintain, and that gasoline was wonderful.

biggest problem now is the snowblower. I suppose thankfully it has had little use lately. But with EFI, it starts right up.

I have used Avgas for the last 30 years with excellent results. Fortunately, I have easy access to it.
