RollBack (22).jpg

Don't recall if I posted my Dodge or not. Carried my my wife to lunch yesterday and when I took her back to work this young girl driving to fast to react hit my door as my wife was getting out of my truck, but my truck being tall the bottom corner of the door dung into her fender leaving a deep dent and scratch and just rolled the corner of my door a few blows with a rubber hammer and only my pride is hurt. just glad it was not a few seconds later it could have been my wife's leg.

Picked up a brush guard for my truck today... Guy at work sold me this Ranch Hand full guard for $50... It came off one of the company trucks about a year ago, he had it on his personal truck a while, and now sold it to me for what he had in it... Sweet!

The mounting brackets are a little cobbled, but I could (and might) bolt it on as-is, but I want to make new brackets to allow adjustment as needed.

Didnt know where to post this, wasnt worth a whole new thread.

Woody is that a rollback trailer? If so could you get me some pictures of the underside of the bed where the rollback setup is? Been wanting to build one and looking for ideas.

there is another thread on here with pictures but I will take some of the slid when I get a chance it is dark when I get home and I will be working through Christmas. I wish I had went with my first idea and that was to buy a bed off of a roll back wreaker and build a trailer under it. but after doing some modifications to this one I am liking it better and better. the slid is basically tubing sliding inside C-channel pushed and pulled with a hydraulic cylinder.

Got the brush guard on the dually today. Doesn't fit/line up as I would like, but to the casual observer it will look fine. Also not happy with the mounting, not very strong, and more for show than use. A solid deer hit at 45+ mph would put it into the grill/headlights, as the leverage would overcome the mounting points. The one on the wife's Excursion is mounted far more solid, and allows for easy adjustment/alignments.

Still like how it makes the truck look though!
