Did you get the Aisin trans? What is the tow rating on it? What kind of options are on the Tradesman? Is that like the old SLT?

No. Aisin transmission is only available on 3500. It has the 68FRE. I think I got the letters right. 6 speed auto. 3.42 rears. Only rear gear option for 2500 with a Cummins. Rated to tow around 17k.

17k will cover 95% of my towing. I moved up from a 10k Chevy 2500hd gas.

Power windows and locks. Did get the 5” uconnect screen. Gooseneck prep package. Trailer brake controller. Had cloth seats and had them replaced with heated leather. Spray in bed liner. Has 4wheel drive stick in floor. Not familiar with the old slt so can’t compare.

Hauled a Case 70 skid steer today on 20+5 gooseneck. Only way I knew it was there was it needed more throttle. Very pleased.

I traded that HD and it didn’t owe me a thing. It did everything I asked of it. I ran the dependable life out of that truck. Traded with 185k miles on it.

Good reminder of Jeeps early days. I was impressed with all the ag options available back when, suited for the small farms of the day - enough to get you started homesteading.
