Your towing rigs and trailers

That is a nice setup for yard work. Does the city let you take it on the roads to the burn pile, or do you have a back way to get there?

Its not all that far from our home, maybe a mile or less. Or one K for our Canadian friends. :) Driving a ATV or 6x6 is actually illegal within our municipality but the law enforcement guys might had more pressing issues than us driving to the city slash pile.

Speaking of yard work with a trailer reminded me of some pasture work with my put together Toro+Loader and the 8' x 16' deckover with some sheared off cedar trees:

Do you have to unhook the trailer and use the Toro to unload it? I致e used a trailer to haul a good bit of brush. It痴 a lot faster over much distance vs the grapple.

Yep I did. That was 10 years ago when it was my only loader. And no grapple, just the brush fork that I made for it:

I love it, extremely quiet. Tons of power. Only issue is a hard shift in the lower gears. Need to see if it smooths out. Favorite feature is adaptive cruise control so far.
Now that's a man's truck right there! :drink:

Early driving feedback?

Going to be hauling the excavator as soon as the weather cooperates
If I had the keys to that I would be looking for trailers to hook to!

Awesome! I'll assume the SD 10AT is similar to the F150 10AT, in that it "learns" your driving style, and takes some miles to sort out shift points.

Waiting for my local dealer to get a new 7.3 in for a test drive. :cool2:

You were correct, shifts smoothed out nicely after a few days.

That load is mushroom hay.
I also do quite a bit of feed hay.
Probably 80/20 (mushroom hay/feed hay)
The problem is lack of indoor storage for the feed hay.
200-300 feed hay bales is all I have room for at the present.
“Someday” my wife and I will move somewhere that I can build a big efficient pole barn.
In the meantime, the rest sit outside and become mushroom hay.
