Versatile Shows Off Legendary 50th Anniversary Tractors

Versatile Leg LimitVersatile is celebrating five decades of continuous four-wheel-drive tractor production with a special VIP event in Winnipeg. Nearly 150 dealers and customers were on hand to accept delivery of 50 Legendary Limited Edition 50th Anniversary tractors.

The customers and dealers joined Versatile in Winnipeg for a facility tour and a special evening at the company research and development facility where nearly all of the special edition tractors were on display, representing nearly 25,000 horsepower. Each tractor featured a special 50th Anniversary logo embroidered in the seat, a stainless steel and chrome exhaust package, a limited edition paint and decal scheme and a metal name plate in the cab with the tractor and customer details.

Attendees at the event were the first to see the Versatile 1080, more commonly known as Big Roy, fully restored for the 50th Anniversary. Big Roy will set out on a summer tour schedule including Ag in Motion in Saskatoon, SK, Farm Progress Show in Boone, IA and Big Iron in Fargo, ND. The company will continue to take entries on the 1966 Versatile C10 truck valued at more than CAD$50,000, which will be won by a customer at the Versatile Dealer Meeting held in Winnipeg this November.
