Pros:

Good solid reliable tractor, few thousand hours on it and no breakdowns.
Uses less than 2 GPH diesel working hard.
Easy to service, all fluid and filters simple to do at home.
Approx 8500lb with cast wheels, R1W metric radials w/fluid in rear, LA1153E loader & bucket.
Hydraulics work well.
LA1153E loader easy to remove and attach.
QA bucket Euro coupler on "E" model.
Gears well spaced and hydraulic shuttle saves left leg.
Easy to get on and off.
Very stable tractor with excellent traction on R1W tires.


Cons:
Basic seat suspension and lack of forward travel on the slides
Fuel tank could be larger when running hard for 10-12 hours a day.

M7040 SUHD
Model Year: 2012

Relatively light duty for a 70 HP, weighing approximately 6800 lbs with the FEL. Works fine for moving hay rolls or light clean-up with my optional 3rd function valve and 6' grapple. Love the quick change bucket to grapple and back. This tractor can be unstable with FEL use, even with the rear tires loaded and set out. Definitely not for a novice operator.

Pros: Light enough to move easily with my Gas Chevy 2500 and 30' Gooseneck.
Cons: Must use 4WD to utilize a 78" box blade.

Poor Kubota service
Model Year: 2009

Many problems with availability of spare parts; limited technician knowledge; expensive parts when available; poor after sales service from both Thailand and Japan; high on promise and very low on delivery. Shame, shame, shame on you Kubota; many farmers going broke due to your failure to supply parts.

Pros: Potentially good product.
Cons: Rubbish made in Thailand.
