Solid Tractor, Very Pleased.
Model Year: 2001
Well, if you are researching tractors and come across my review here, you probably already know that this Cub Cadet 7305 tractor is the EXACT same tractor as a Mahindra 3015. Both were built by Mitsubishi using solid cast iron frame construction. There are variants of this same tractor design dating well back into the past, so parts availability should be good, though prices can be high. The tractors feature a 30HP, 1.5L, 3-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel coupled to a Hydrostatic trans. 3 ranges on the trans, 4WD, and differential lock ensure you have plenty of pulling power and traction. Being a slightly older 2001 model, it has somewhat lower performance than brand new tractors of the same size, weight and power level. Loader capacity is one obvious point, but you know what? That's okay, this tractor (my first) still kicks some serious butt. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this low hour, well maintained, stored inside model in the exact size and power range I was looking for, coming in at almost HALF the cost of new models I was being quoted on the showroom floor. Bought it with 135 hours (only 13 per year... i.e. almost new still) and have put 6 on in the last 2 weeks. Pushing over trees, scraping dirt, generally destroying some nature to re-claim an overgrown parcel of land. Awesome stuff.
Pros: Rugged cast iron frame, Mitsubishi chassis and engine durability and reliability, nice heavy weight for its size means you can get some serious work done.
Cons: Trans and hydraulics aren't the smoothest. That's about it. Oh, no cupholder (yet)!
