I have a john deere 1010 crawler I'm have engine issues it's very hard to start but when I get it running it spits and sputters and when u adjust the throttle it dosent work it continues to stay...- 1010crawlerman

John Deere: A Might Fine Mower
Model Year: 1983
Let me tell ya, when they say that nothin' runs like a Deere, they mean it. My grandpappy used to till the fields with this here model, and now my young son is out there gettin' things done on the old Deere. One time my neighbor came over while I was on the Deere. He was shakin' in his boots cause he was so mad. I was so distracted by him jumpin' up and down and yellin, I ran straight into the old hickory tree. The Deere didn't have as much of a dent. As for my head though, well let's just say there's another one to add to the ongoin' collection. I let my Deere sit in the barn with mice, skunks, coons, feral cats and god knows what else for over five years durin' a drought. First rains came and that old Deere fired right up. She's as reliable as, well, I'm not sure, 'cause everythin' these days is made in China and breaks right away. But not my Deere. God bless America!
Pros: Made in America.
Cons: My farmer's tan gets real bad 'cause my John Deere is always running and I don't have any excuses to stay outta the sun.
