That may be all rite it it's summer diesel but not a good idea for winter diesel .If you have some kerosene, I'd mix anywhere from 30 to 50% kero in with the diesel.

Freezing temperatures are not the norm where I live but this winter we saw several days in the mid 20's. I have a couple of questions. Even though the tractor sits in a non-heated shed, do you think it got cold enough to gel the fuel in my tractor? Once fuel gels because of extreme cold, does it reconsitute itself when it returns to normal above freezing temperatures or is this fuel no longer good to use?
