Ok, where did I leave off?
I rebuilt the injectors and still couldent get it to start... Well I did get it to start... by putting 24 volts to the starter ( cost me a starter and glow plugs)! But it wouldent start on 12 volts. I jurry rigged a way to test the compression and found 2 cylinders low.
So I rebuilt the engine. It had 2 broken second rings and a scuffed piston.
I got it all back together and took it for a test drive. It dosent have a clutch or any brakes yet, so I started in gear for the test.
In 1st gear, at an idle it moves at about a medum walk. But that is with the taller rear ring and pinon still in. With the lower R&P it should move at half that speed, so I think it will work fine.
