Obviously, I have not finished all the plumbing because of the back-ordered fittings.
But here are a couple photos of some hoses sort of like how they will be plumbed. I'll need to wait for the other parts to be sure one fitting doesn't get in the way of another before I finalize the hose lengths and what direction (or hose end) to use. Then I'll wrap the appropriate hose clusters together ... the left side link separate from the right, etc. Like I said, the beauty of using these is the versatility you get in making them exactly how you want or how they need to be.
I'll never have another 3/8" hose made at the hydraulics store when I can do it myself at home.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Discount Hydraulics also sells many Metric to JIC, SAE or NPT adapters.
You can screw in the adapter into your non-replaceable Chinese tractor Metric or BSP component and use JIC on the other end to fit these re-usable hose ends.
Plumbing for these is a lot easier now.

Very cool Rob, I always wondered how those fitting worked...But I am curious why you didn't use 1/4" hose for the work ports? 3/8" seems like a waste for the TnT cylinders.

Hi Kenny, thanks for checking this thread out. Yeah, those re-usable ends are great!
I could've used 1/4" but a lot of my other stuff is 3/8 hose. I was just trying to keep them the same. In fact, 1/4" would probably work for most anything on our small tractors had I been thinking better...

Rob,
Want to be sure that I understand.
There is no connection between parts A and B. It is the 鍍hreads that are created on the outside and then on the inside that holds the parts in place under high pressure.

Yes,
When you take those re-usable hose ends apart, the outer housing has huge left handed threads inside it.
You screw it onto the outside of the hose and may need a wrench to get it to seat within the thumbnail distance of being home. Then when you screw the other part into the inside of the hose (right handed) you will also need a wrench to get it to seat to the proper thumbnail distance. The inner piece squishes the hose even more into the outer housing deep threads and that is the connection. I don't imagine it coming apart any easier than a crimped on hose end would. It is super tight and needs wrenches to seat properly.

Rob,
I'm a big fan of reusable fittings too. I'm doing a similar project on my dozer. Installing all US made valves including the tip & tilt treatment.
Almost looks like I've got a double barreled ripper.:D

Hi Bob, you're right.
Doesn't that make it a lot easier working with Metric fittings and being able to fit US valves and hoses?
Hey, where is a picture of what you describe. The "double barreled ripper" look? I'd love to see it man.

On Edit:
I went to your CTOA link and checked them out ... SWEET!!!
Super clean installation man! Greaseable Zerks and all kinds of fancy stuff.
I feel bad now, I better stop posting my hack job.

OK Bob, like I was really going to do that:D ... hahaha.
You guys are too kind though, with the compliments. I appreciate it very much.

What a drag it is waiting around for the other parts to come in.
I see they should arrive this Friday but not all of them are even in the back order ... shees. So I donked around and worked in the shop hanging a retractable hose reel and electric cord from the ceiling beam. I'll post some photos in the Log Home and Barn thread later.

The only thing I got done today was make a bracket for her rear remotes.
I used one that I made before and altered it a little. You can see it's used and where I welded the shape together. I used the bolt that holds the rear work light and added one other bolt hole. I made it so the remotes stick out the back of her right rear fender and angle out a little. I found it's handier to get to when trying to couple them ... gives you a little better angle and clearance to get at them and apply some pressure that way. Especially with an implent hooked back there.
Anyway, here are a couple photos of the bracket and rear remotes. I added a cotter pin to hold the chains for the rubber caps. Also made hoses to fit but haven't done the other end yet.
