What would you change about your current John Deere tractor?

About the only thing that bothers me about the 4320 is the height of the ROP. I'd lower the ROP a foot or so.

I agree 100%. Sure wish my 4320 ROPS was about 4 -6 inches shorter.

Also, with the notorious fuel gauge issue when it indicates "LO FUEL", you no longer see your speed indication. This can drive you nuts when you're trying to maintain constant speed and you know you have about a half tank of fuel remaining.

Maybe it's different for the E-Hydro machines, but on my PR, when the "Low Fuel" flashes in the display, and I know it's not low, I just push the "Display Mode Button" and it clears the flashing so I can see the hour meter again. I wonder if it would do the same thing for being able to see your hours while moving on a Hydro.

I do have e-hydro. I'll try hitting the "Display Mode" button when Low Fuel is indicated and see if it works the same as your PR -- hope it does.

You can not check the engine hours if you have moved the tractor. Once you start it and move any at all it shows speed.

D.

I havent tested this myself, so I'm speaking from my rear end...but I thought that could be "toggled thru" using the Display Function button?

Don't believe we have a Display Function Button on our cabs... :(

Yeah you do. See option "D" in this excerpt from the owners manual. It should allow you to scroll through viewing the hours, speed, etc.

That doesn't look much like a 5425 cab to me. :D

Well no of course not:D, I was reading from the last 4 posts.

Ah... I started the whole complaint about the Hobbs meter, but it was a bit further than 4 posts ago. :D I also whine about the arm rests. My only real complaints concerning the tractor. I think its great when all I can find to complain about is a Hobbs meter and arm rests.
