I have a friend that had a Kioti. Pushing on some brush piles with the loader and the loader arms bent like a bad paper clip.

Then the tranny hung in reverse so he could only drive backwards


I do not recommend them. Def go with deere or Kubota

Oh darn. I guess I'll have to be more careful with my loader from now on. No more uprooting stumps, boulders and monster piles of brush. From now on I'll just use the loader to collect the mail and scoop dog poop. Thanks for the warning.

IT your right, I think I'll stop using my loader for work and just use it as front weight instead.

I think they both make fine machines, Kubota has been great for me, so i stay with them. 10 years of commercial year round use, thousands of hours on 3 different machines, never had a catastrophic failure. That is proof of quality in my eyes?

Dmace - You must be good with photoshop - if you really put as much of a load in your bucket as is shown in your avator, it would definately break the loader arms.

Only if it were a Kubota or JD loader. Kioti loaders handle those loads just fine.

But I am very proud of how well I photoshopped the shadows and how I got branches to look like they were both inside the grapple and covering the grapple. Took DAYS of intense photoshopping. If you noticed on my earlier photo of the DK40se picking up the boulder I even photoshopped a bent grapple tine into the photo to make it seem more realistic.

This is an absurd statement. Other than maybe a dealer, or employee, who would go to such lengths? And for what purpose? There is no doubt that the photos are real.

I've moved over 700 tons of dirt and big rubble with no issues on my CK25. The rubble is especially hard to load and puts a lot of strain on the loader. The Kioti loader is just as good as any other brand's.

I'm pretty dang sure my NH loader would not lift that rock slab in pic#3 - with or without photoshop I'm impressed. I have noticed before how happy many Kioti owners are on TBN. If I were tractor shopping, I would give Kioti a serious look for sure.

IIRC it was around a 45hp 4wd tractor. I don't know the model number it was bought new in 2004. Maybe his tractor was a fluke its the only Kioti I have ever been around. I wasn't impressed with that particular tractor.

Maybe the machine was abused I don't know. All I know is pushing on brush piles and some stumps I watched the arms fold. Maybe it was only on that tractor maybe he had been working it hard before I saw it. I only posted what I saw as a fact. Maybe all Kioti's aren't piles of junk like his. Everything out there has a lemon even JD and Kubota.

Reading through your previous posts, it's obvious your a Deere fan and will put down every other manufacturer just to promote your own equipment.

You might want to go back and reread my post for content.

You even said "Kubota's oil pump is no where near big enough. Their hydraulics are SO SLOW" It's sad really.

I know its sad you would think they would get in the game and build a bigger pump. Again I am just stating facts I know.

Tractor for tractor a 95hp(engine) 80hp(pto) Kubota puts out 18.1gpm. Same tractor in the JD version puts out 24.7gpm. It's 6.6gpm more flow.

Do you really think anyone is going to believe that a pile of brush folded a 45HP tractors loader arms like a paper clip? Especially the Kioti's monstrous KL401 loader with over 2,700lbs of lift! Also, I did read the content of your posts. It's as comical as this one.

rtimgray, I am getting very good at Photoshop. Check out the well tile I strapped to the loader, removed from the truck and lowered into the ground all from the seat of my computer. I assumed you were joking.

Like I say he may have been forcing on it the day before I don't know. But when pushing on the stump and brush it folded over to the side enough the loader wouldn't operate. That is the extent of my dealings with Kioti.

Yes I know what its like, saw a spacecraft land in the field and took my Belarus tractor then returned it the next night and it was repainted green and had a Deere on it.

I have no doubt you could twist ANY tractor mounted front end loader like that. Easy to do. Just put the tractor in 4wd low, lower the bucket to just above ground level and charge into a pile of brush that is hiding a stump. Hit the stump with the edge of the bucket (not the center) and you will apply massive twisting forces to the long FEL arms. You'd have to be dumb as dirt to try such a manuver but I have zero doubt that would bust any loader made by JD, Kubota or Kioti. Bulldozing is for bulldozers. FELs are primarily designed to lift not push and certainly are not designed to push off center.

Exactly he may have been doing this the day before and these stumps and brush were just the icing on the cake.

This is my only experience with Kioti so it wasn't the best so I was posting my experience with them.

With all the people that like their Kioti I would say buy one if you have a dealer that is good and close to you.

This is how second hand information does more harm than good. First it's a mere brush pile.Then....

Me thinks this owner/operator friend felt he purchased a bulldozer, but the reality of the situation was he actually purchased a compact utility tractor.
