I am a member of the few and the proud. My tires never leak. Never. At least on my BX2200. My Subaru, they leak. It is the original set, with 67,500 miles on them.

My brother's BX2200, his front tires supply all of us with the air we need to breath each day. Go figure.

Im against tubes. My tubes lasted about a week. Then I was dead in the water for a hole day of work planned. I guess you could say im part of group 4, take tire off then put tire back on. Havent had a problem yet. If it still gives me grief, im going slime or foam. Kubota doesnt really seem to give a ***** on the issue, which really pi$$es me off...

Its kinda like the toyota recall for accelerators. Its a pretty common apparatus that shouldnt need no attention.

Just an update. They both still leak, albeit at a much slower rate. I was at the local dealer yesterday and there was a guy at the service counter holding a front bx tire with an R4 on it, for the same issue. I think its funny that every dealer I talk to, its the "first" time they have seen or heard of it. Such a line of BS.

I wish Kubota would step up to the plate for both these bogus front tires and the ridiculous hydro fan. I could have boughten a pretty nice car for the price I paid for this thing.

:cool:Fixed it myself ... that is the leaky OE front tire problem. The dealer says they send out their tire problems. So I says to myself "Screw it". By breaking the bead all around and both sides, I coated the rim and tire surface with bead sealer. It's holding pressure fine now. By the time one takes the tire/wheel off, totes it to the dealer, waits a day or three, goes back to pick it up and mount it, one can fix it oneself. Regardless of who's responsible, I just want to get it done. Kubota & Dealer probably were hoping for that anyway.:(

Some of the guys over on the Cub Cadet channel are complaining of the same thing. Suppose it's the same supplier? :D:D

BP, it could be the same supplier. I filled the loader bucket with water to see if I could find the leak. After an hour of squiting for little bubbles, I never did find anything. The sidewalls and tread had no thorns or suspicious looking places. Thus I just did the bead sealer treatment....kinda like going to a doctor who can't diagnose the problem.

Where have you been all this time with the "fix"? Beadsealer! If it happens again I'll try bead sealer. Guess that's an auto parts store item?

Mine had a bunch of tiny pinholes in the sidewall... slimed it about a week ago and it has been fine since... I had a problem with the bead leaking on a green tractor with yellow wheels... broke that tire down and used all purpose grease on the bead... 4 years later it is still holding up :D

I have officially left the "One flat front tire group" and joined the "Two flat front tires group".
:confused2:
