You know, there's a mid-PTO and Power Beyond on eBay right now. Rarely see either one anymore.

Here is where to get Deere manuals directly. John Deere Technical Information Bookstore - Home Page
Get the CD as it's generally half the cost of the paper manual, and you can print replacement pages to your heart's content.

Same PDF you'll get from Deere. I bought a set of six CDs with like 50 manuals for $30.

You know, I don't have or use a single piece of illegal software but I have no trouble with these PDFs. Deere makes money on the parts. They should distribute the tech manual so you can find and use those parts for free. I'm a big fan of companies that do that. Its the only real knock I have against them.

I don't know of any OEM that gives away workshop/technical/service manual's for free. You might by the parts because you have the manual-but without it you may be paying labor in addition to the parts.
Edit: Plus they give you JDParts for free...no other OEM comes close to that system for free.

Yep, pirated PDF's. How many pages does that 4200 - 4400 tech manual have in it?
I went and added links, bookmarks, etc to my Deere 4200 - 4400 PDF manual that Deere should have put in the document to make cross referencing easier. I thought about selling my effort online; but then I thought twice since that would no doubt be illegal and I've got better things to do than waste money fighting Deere's army of legal beagles.
