Rode for about 10 years, had 6 different street bikes, the last was a 2003 R6. It just got too dangerous with all of the idiots on their cell phones and not paying attention, so I gave up riding in 2005. I do miss it.
The first picture is the type of bike I learned on.
I learned on a Honda QA-50 too! That was such a well mannered bike for all to learn on. had several bike through the years, gave up riding while in the service for twenty years because I was a single parent. Now I'm back on a bike and couldn't pass up my 09 FLTR (roadglide). Now I want a chopper![]()
Here is the reason I don't ride anymore.....Traffic and other stupid drivers that make left turns in front of oncoming riders along with a general disregard for motorcycles...
This fella was only 39 yrs. old and this happened about 30 miles from me..

So things like that never happen in a car?
Deep-N-Dirt-- really nice looking 30-year-old bike!
Mine are so-so; I try to keep them clean, but they could all use a bit more cosmetic "spiffing up." Yours looks like it just came off the showroom floor!

If I gave up riding for that reason, I might as well quit walking too. Ride/walk defensively, but ride on!
