No, the ROPs are about an inch too tall to make it in my garage door when they are fully up. I may take a look at the umbrella in thatguy's post the next time I am in TSC.
sunshade or not

When I bought my first Kubota tractor (L3710) 10 years ago in Northern Wisconsin, I thought about buying a sunshade but never did. I worked with that tractor for 5 years in that area of the country without any real problems, and was probably better off without one as I did some work in the woods and around lots of trees.
This year I bought my second Kubota (L3700SU) and I live down south now in North Carolina. I bought a Kubota sunshade when I got the tractor and I would not want to be without one living here! I can go outside in any weather and get some work done without worrying about over exposure to the sun. Without the sunshade I would not be able to work very long in the summer sun and heat. Also, I don't work around any trees now so I have no worries about hitting or damaging the sunshade (I might be worried about this if I had lots of trees). I never fold down the ROPS, so I don't have to worry about that.
So, I would say think about where you are located or working with your tractor and this will help you decide if a sunshade would be just nice to have or a lifesaver to keep you going during the summer sun and heat. :thumbsup:

Well, I've posted this so many times, I must sound like a broken record. But, yes, some kind of protection from the sun was a necessity for me in the Texas heat. The neighbor's old Oliver that I used so much for cutting and baling hay had one of the umbrellas and that was sure better than nothing. But when I bought my Kubota B2710, the dealer said the Wells Ag Company canopies were both stronger and cheaper than the Kubota canopies. I had a choice of diamond plate aluminum or steel painted to match the tractor. As you can see, I picked the steel and was well satisfied. There may be others as good, but I've never seen any better.
Way back in 1999, it cost me $295, but 12 years later, I have no idea what they cost now. And Wells Ag Company was located just a few miles north of my Kubota dealer so I don't think there was any shipping charge to the dealer.

I wouldn't be without mine, no drilling just a bold on. Made from Chevy El Camino truck cap (Free). I have perhaps $15-20 in it. Also dubs for the lid when the cab is on.

Incidentally, that steel frame and insulation allowed me to mount a work light to the front to beam past where the headlights were aimed and a floodlight to the rear, as well as a rear view mirror. I later replaced the round rear view mirror a larger rectangular one.
I also had two tiltmeters mounted on it; one for side to side and one for front to rear.

Forgot to mention, I mounted a 3-way toggle switch up on the right side; middle position was off, flip it to the front for the front light or to the rear for the rear light.

I was thinking that looks familiar, I've got the mirror and the front light, no rear light though. I have factory rear lights on the rops, but they only work when the headlights are on. Most of the time when I want rear lighting I don't want front lights on.
I should just get another rear facing light on the canopy.
BTW I fished the flood beam light out of a dumpster, it casts the most beautiful wide bright beam, way better than the factory head lights, and being mounted up high on the canopy, shines well over the snow plow.
