Ford 5000, Kelley front end loader 800 model

Being a disabled retired Marine, I have a very fixed icome, I have been saving a long time to get this. I couldn't afford much. Finally after looking for years, I found this Ford 5000 on Tractor House, so I assumed the listing would be accurate. I did not even think, I would get cheated in the farm business, some how I had this silly idea, people in this industry might be more honest people. Little did i know, either dishonest or uninformed. The numer he sent me indicates a 1976. He sent me this number C 5 N N 7 0 0 6 the C means either 5000 or 8speed. The 5 in the scale stands for 1975. So he tried to prove to me it was a 1976. But the engine number on the one he sent is different.

Boy did I get ripped off. Its a 1966 tractor, but they said 1976. The loan papers say 1976. the Kelly front end

loader says 1985. The dilivery papers which I didn't read, say different.
But I think my loan papers are the legal ones.
The product code is 6 M 1 3 meaning 1966, Dec. 13th. and there is not stamping for the time of day on the tractor. A

for midnight, B for morning, and C for afternoon. Boy they seen me coming.

yep.. the '5' in themodel number is the clue.. it would be 'D' if it was a late one.
still.. it's a good machine. too bad they were not honest with you, since they should have known what they were

selling. it's not like it's a secret what the numbers mean.

No way am I going to stand for this, something will be done about it. Several suggest contacting the Attorneys

General and file fraud charges, but not untill I hear from them to see where my 1976 is.

Oh I paid $5,000 for a 5000 Ford Tractor 1976. Sounded like a really good deal, seen one for lower and several for more, Got a offer yesterday for one for sale for $6,000. Do $5,000 did not thro up any red flags. I have litterlly looked at hundred of hudred of tractors. No just ford either.

Depending on condition and appearance and hours, they ranged from $4,500 all the way to $10,000. Some with loaders, some without, some with bush hogs. some without.

If you are saying that your tractor system is closed center hyd, that changes things. The valves added will have to be closed center valves and can be connected in parallel.

a ford 5000 is an open center system... it uses the same standard top cover hyd remote that ford used from 1955 thru at least the X600 series in 79. with the 10 sereis there was liekly some changes.. etc.

Well thats the number he told me, saying that proved it was a 1976. I didn't know these things till I looked into it even more. I have looked and looked for days not hours. Spent up to 6 hours all night long looking and reading about ford tractors, I got books and books doing research trying to figure this all out about years and models and horse power and PTO HP, etc.

WEll as anyone can see, I thought something was up. Look at all the questions I have asked. And the advice I have been seeking. then look what the facts are and you can see I was mislead, and they misrepresented themselves and their product.
A 1966 ford 5000 is not the same as a 1976 Ford 5000, except that they didn't make very many changes in them except for some metal work cosmetically. I know it, you know it, everyone who reads and follows this knows it.
Ten(10) years difference it a big difference in anything. Look at our bodies and tell me that isn't the truth.

If I could get back ten years of my life, and be 46 again, I would jump at the chance.

The big picture here is that they should have gotten back to me. I called them at 2pm friday afternoon with this issue. And they didn't call me back. Thats just poor poor situation any way you look at it.
Of course if they were out on their yaughts, and couldn't be reached. LOL

put a poor man don't understand that type stuff. Everything I own is old and I have very few luxuries just like all the other average men.

I do not know may hard working farmers who have not worked for what they got. And there are more poor hard working farmers than rich ones, who can afford to be away from there jobs and not take care of something like this.
