Kubota dealer is really starting to piss me off

I too would like the dealers name and location, and yes the L3800 is and was position control as all of it's predecessors. Just not a well executed position control. I suspect you now have a nice new Grand L valve, in your L3800, but I cannot prove that, I am very suspect of the "we adjusted it properly" line, but cannot prove that either. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the repair bay of that dealership watching the particular swap out of valves.

Im surprised one of the dealers that frequent this forum has not weighed in on this "fix" and "reset specs" to make it work. I'm sure one of them should know if its possible

Yeah the thing is, he now has a "standard" tractor, which he paid a "standard" tractor price for, now with the major feature of the Grand L series, a nice smooth 3 pt hitch. and has about 5 or 6 thou more money in his pocket. Oh sure there are other features of the grand L besides the 3 pt. but the Standard L series are fine tractors, I know I have one, and while the jerky 3pt is not a deal breaker for me, it is the one "wart on the nose" of a darn fine tractor.
Thousands of owners of these tractors would like to know more.

I suspect it would get better exposure with a new thread entitled "Jerky L series 3 point hitch fixed !" or something like that. Anyone that has an L series tractor and sees that video is going to open their eyes to be sure.

Sorry to hear about all the trouble people are having with the newer 3pt. hitches. Mine has always been just as smooth as the one in the video and it's a 1999 L3710. I did manage to break a part in it a few years ago. I think I overloaded my core aerator with too many sandbags.

I should have spelled it out better. It's the models ending in "00". :ashamed: L2800, L3200, L3400, L3700, L3800 Sorry about that. I almost traded for a L3710, nice tractors, and yes, a smooth 3ph :thumbsup:

I have, several times. Its a "problem" that we're basicly unable to duplicate. We sold 28 standard L's last year and I can't name on person who has complained about this. I suspect the OP probaby has an 0-ring out causing the system to suck air, but on a properly working machine I can't seem to make the 3pt jerk around unless I open the drop valve up the entire way and shove the implement up and down.

So the tractors you've sold, the 3ph is smooth like the last video?
