Ugh, I keep forgetting to get pictures of mine but will post some. Simple design that should work on yours.

great!
really appreciate it
I'll remind you if you forget again...no problem.
I'm probably a few weeks out from that point anyways.

thx

LOL, ok. For a taste of the setup go here for the parts manual. Page 3 has a breakdown of the frame. Parts 3 & 8 span from under the motor and back to the rear axle. You can see that it seperates in the middle so you can split the tractor without removing the frame. Part number 9 is a 3rd brace to the frame of the transmission if I remember correctly. So all you need to add is #8, #9 and weld the 1/4" steel on the right side (per the picture) of #3 to your existing loader frame. I wonder if these parts can still be bought.

Hm, looking back I see the picture of another unit like yours has a 1640 loader. This is the breakdown for that one. http://www.kubotabooks.com/AutoInde...df&AutoIndex=9b30c761c67938e684a6623a034e1fde

The rear mount looks to be $45. I don't see the belly brace though, that one would be tougher to make.

Here is a video of the 4x4 version of the Kubota B1750 with the 1640 loader attached. Perhaps it will be helpful to see it in action. If you look closely, you can see the underframe shown in the parts diagram.

ok, I see how they are doing it. I think I can get a local shop to fab something up. I'll do some drawings and see what I can come up with for my bush hog loader
I might even be able to just buy most of those parts and then adapt to mine...as you said.
I'll post up pics and probably more questions soon
thx

This is from a different Kubota tractor but it clearly shows the subframe which doesn't look like it would be difficult to adapt and fabricate for your tractor.

ETA: See image in post below

Here is a TBN thread full of subframe pictures:

I was going to spread a little RTV onto the paper gaskets and install the oil seal with carrier, but found my old RTV tube had hardened up...so need to go get some in the morning

Just found your thread. This is one case where substituting RTV for
the paper gaskets is clearly superior. Paper gaskets are very fast to install
(as on the assembly line) but not as good as RTV. If you look at the
crankshaft where the seal lips rub, there was some wear, correct? If you
reinstall the seal holder with RTV instead of a paper gasket, the rubber
lip of the seal will rest on an unworn, larger diameter part of the crank.
That is due to the RTV seal being thinner than the paper gasket.

BTW, my B21's crank seal failed, which destroyed the clutch.

I don't know if you said...how many hours on this Kubota?

so that looks like a subframe that supports both the fel and a bh.

now, I'm planning on getting a backhoe for this tractor (dont plan on plowing or mowing with it)...so I'm wondering if I should get the backhoe sooner than I had planned, so that I can tie them all into each other?
Hmmm, more investigation and looking around to do it seems
thx for the picture!
