I'm surprised you're not selling more Workmasters.
can't speak for everyone else, but we do well with them.

I'm surprised you're not selling more Workmasters. Our WM55 is fantastic. We bought ours in October and have about 90 hours on it now. It's a solid classic 4wd tractor. The plate steel is much thicker than other tractors in the same hp range. Minimal plastic to get brittle and crack. Everything is easy on/off connectors.
The only negative is the size of the fill hole in the transmission. It could use a bigger fill hole.
I have to say, I'm surprised that more people aren't snapping these up for small acreage farms.
...Shibaura subcompacts are coming to your local Kioti dealer soon, by the way.

Rick, can you give us any info on this, I haven't heard anything and can't seem to find anything about it. Are you saying they're going to build engines for Daedong or a full subcompact line below the CK20?
The boomer 20 and 25 are not subcompacts.
New Holland still does not have a full line up. no sub compacts, no cab tractors, etc. CNH needs to either make a commitment to the compact tractor business and get the product right, or cut their losses and concentrate on farm equipment.
So, these sound like the comparable to a Kubota B2620 and B2320. So, the JD model would be the... 2320 and what? John Deere's line has a couple of holes in it too. The Boomer 30 would be like the B2920, B2630, or the JD 2520 or 2720? It really gets strange trying to figure out what apples to apples is when doing comparisons. I guess it all runs down to where their big markets are. I ran into a dealer that wouldn't mess with a Kubota B series any smaller than a B2920. It was where he was located, and what his local customers wanted.
I wouldn't say NH needs to cut out of the market because they don't have an apples to apples direct competitor. That's silly. What I do find irritating is that every one is selling re-branded tractors with slightly different sheet metal and different paint. JD, at least, makes an effort to engineer some differences into their tractors.
