And you are right to disagree with that post. We actually do want an original pic. Maybe a special mount, a special usage, or even painted black! If nothing else, then just you tractor smiling with it on.:thumbsup:

Made a call to TSC yesterday. My two closest stores are out of stock of the 72", but 3 other regional stores still have one. Fingers crossed they still have it come Saturday...

Will be mounting it on a 60" bucket, Hopefully it fits smoothly.

Lots of brush to clear - can't wait to get started!

You are correct, the original ones purchased directly from Ratchet Rake came in black. When I purchased mine, they didn't have the mounting cable or protective sleeve for the strap available. After they designed the cable and sleeve, Barbara contacted me and asked if I wanted her to ship them to me free of charge! Great customer service!!

I grabbed one in Valparaiso, In last week - last one there too. Since my tractor is 400 miles away, I could not try it on my bucket. I did call my dealer and he was kind enough to measure the inside dimension of the 200CX 61" bucket. He said that the inside measured 61". Given this I figured that I had enough room for the RR to fit, but not enough for the straps. So, I added D-rings for attaching the straps

I drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole and for the larger hole, I welder a nut to a piece of 1/8" flat stock. If I have enough room, I will flip the flat stock or get me a 1/4" piece and drill and tap it. I'll post pics of it attached once I get down to where the tractor is located.

Nice mods! I fully understand the D-ring added on the top side strap mount. But why bother doing anything with the bottom side cable mount? It should be sitting free and clear under the bucket regardless of bucket size/width.

Pretty ambitious to be modifying the ratchet rake without the tractor present though! I would be test-fitting the **** out of any changes I made to it, but I'm not all that skilled at eyeball fabrication, either.

I snapped more pics of my own RR today, so figured why not share. Overall I am a little bummed about the fit of the 72" model on my 60" bucket. This is the strategy I settled on today for my test fit, but I'm not sold yet and will likely play around with it some more.

I chose to hang it off the driver's left side of the bucket, dunno why. But the offset of the RR brackets vs. my loader bucket width forces one mount to sit outside of the bucket (just barely). When you fit the strap hooks in the mounts, it forces the offset of the RR just a little further, if you want to keep the RR mounts all snugly grabbing the loader bucket.

But man, this thing is heavy duty! Hard to lift into position by yourself, I can see why they recommend you to keep it on the ground and use the loader to pick it up. Since it was in my truck bed I just lifted it myself vs. bending over to place it down on the ground first. I like the agressive look. The yellow almost matches my paint...

Ready to shred some dirt and annihilate some invasive bushes and saplings!

D-rings were added to the top. No mods made to the bottom. The only modification done to the RR were 2 holes drilled and tapped, so it was not all that risky.
