There is Two 3000 series machines at a Medina JD dealer now on stands with the front axels torn apart. Now Why is that??????:cool:

They don't have any ballast in the rear, try to lift something really heavy and overloads the front axel with all the weight of the tractor and all the weight of the load. Happens with ALL tractors. I have a 3000 series, and I can tell you there is no common faulty 3000 axel. Actually, I would question more why 3 months ago they were working on this same problem when you mentioned it before? Murph, I'm totally fine that you hate JD, but there's really no need for all the comments.

About the dealers. My closest dealer, and the one that I usually buy through only goes through the 5000 series. He actually owns a farm as well and is very knowledgable, all family run. But the other dealer around here, who owns 9 shops sells pretty much everything.

Howdy Ken !
Good thing "Old Maude" retired or they probably would have tried to blame it on HER !

Say bullbreaker; is that a Case or an Allis Chalmers? Looks like an old Case to me - but wouldn't bet more than a six pack!

Thanks,

Belongs to Ken Sweet I'am sure He will see this in a while and answer that.
Always wanted to borrow it from him back in the day with a couple swigs of "White Lighting" and drive it through a couple farm fences just for fun maybe even the side of a barn ! :D
Those days are over for me though.

WC Allis Chalmers. We have her stored in a place of honor, fitting for a old workhorse. Ken Sweet

Sounds like you got a beef with mother Deere lol.

We had a Kioti tractor in our shop with a blown up hydraulic pump at 400 hrs. Doesn't matter you will have problems with all of them at some time or another.

Could be any updates that Deere wants installed before sale. Ya never know.

All brands have issues and need repair. All brands get tech service updates....unless their brand doesn't care about the consumer. ;)

The axe grinding department is over yonder.....next to the sour grapes....and orange knock-off's.
