This story of a "long hauler" pickup truck based on a RAM 5500 cab-chassis came out back in December 2011 and now Pickup Trucks is testing one according to their Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pickuptrucksdotcom

Dry weight - 9300 lbs
Tow capacity could be upwards of 27k lbs!
Three fuel tanks totaling 170 gallons.
No word on tranny but it's got to retain the Aisin 6 speed and 800 ft.-lb version of the Cummins.
