Maybe I'm misreading you John, but lighten up a little, have a little fun with this, why else are you here?
I don't know how much lighter I can get! Maybe you haven't read most of my posts.

Another snide remark. Thanks.
I've sent my application in to be the TBN Orange Forum Police and hope to hear from them soon. I've offered to do it for free with no expectation of sick or vacation benefits.

No ... but I can get there. Believe me I can. You won't get the job.

You just need to buy a Kubota then you can post in here. I currently own John Deere, Ford/New Hollands, Case-IH, Massey Harris, Allis Chalmers and Cub Cadet. So I am "allowed" to post in plenty of brand specific forums  You can post in three already so just keep adding colors :D

Of course of all my tractors I had the highest expectations of my Kubota and so far it has disappointed me the most. I am actually thinking of trading it in on a Deere and its only got around 40 hours so far :(

Thanks Robert ... I want to say I probably won't own one and about that time I'll just happen upon one for sale that I like ... so I aint gonna say it, no sir.

Actually its 4 that I can post in.. (not a snide remark) Montana, Branson, John Deere and my little Super A... Your right I just looked and there is no Farmall ... there is a Case IH forum so maybe I can sneak in that one.

I have the Branson for sale ... Gotta go and post in the Branson forum before I sell it !!!!

Sorry your Kubota hasnt worked out for you,I really do enjoy mine.I have been pulling a 15ft batwing most of the day with the M5040 and that little sucker has sure suprised me,how it handles that thing. Sucks when you make a wrong choice then have to take a loss on trading in,I was going to trade the 5040 in and get an 8540 or 9540 to handle the batwing but the 5040 sure has been a good little tractor....

I haven't given up on it yet. I am trying to correct some of the annoying issues but still haven't figured out a couple intermittent problems. The tractor will start vibrating rather roughly while using the rotary cutter yet there is nothing wrong with the cutter that we have been able to notice (its a brand new Bush Hog 295). Also, yesterday the tractor refused to go into range. With the clutch pushed all the way in it would grind trying to shift into low range. Had to shut it down and start it back up and it worked fine. So I don't know what that issue was but if it happens again I am going to have the dealer check it out. The other issues are just Kubota being lazy. Crappy seat, no cup holder, no interior rear view mirror (external mirrors are not ideal for vineyard/orchard use) and there are a lot of rattles inside that cab that makes its hard to hear. The 3pt control levers are one of the issues and I am going to look into a way to put something on them to dampen the vibration related noises. I still haven't found where the other noises are coming from but I will try to eliminate them one by one. I just didn't expect this from a brand new $43k Kubota. The worst part is that I love the Farmall 45A I also just bought, they actually thought of the guy sitting in the seat when they designed it and sadly I think that open station tractor is quieter then the cabbed Kubota :(

I might as well put my 2 cents in here, I own 11 tractors and 5 Dozers plus a Backhoe or two, I Grew up on a decent size farm and farmed alot ( At least to me ) Yrs ago, We just bought another farm 2 yrs ago after i got beat out of the Family Farm, But Back to the Kubota thing, We have a ZD26 Mower and a RTV900,Both was bought new and both gets used, The RtV 900 gets used hard every day, Either cleaning out pens or hauling Insilage every day of the Week, I have even hauled 800 lb rd bales with it, It is a work horse on Flat ground, Head up a hill which we have plenty and it is a Dog, We came close to buying a new 8540 with loader last fall untill We bought it home and hooked it to the Rd Bailer, Man the 1st Dozen in the Bottom i tought wow, i was tuning the Radio and sitting hill, Then came the hills, Opps, We took it back, I find that it doesn,t matter what Color you buy but You have to have a Dealer somewhat close, A Bearing went bad on our JD Rd Bailer on sat morning and lucky the parts Girl at our Closest JD Dealer hadn,t left, She Put one outside for me but i had a 52 oneway mile drive to get there, A Kubota Dealer is 5 miles down the road and Blue about 10 miles IH is 1 1/2 hr if your lucky, So that plays into it
