I'll just continue to hit 'my home' and see what I'm missing so far..

Some of the subscription updates don't even show up in "My Home"
I have found that by looking in "Today's Posts" from time to time.
I just checked my total subscriptions and there are 85. I wonder if there is a limit? Some have dried up as far as activity but I left them in there for quick reference.
I recall "Bird" saying some time back that he cleaned out all of his subscriptions, since they didn't work anymore. Later he said they were working again.
Has anyone else tried "Birds" method with success?
One of you computer geeks need to help TBN figure this out as well as how to keep advertisers, paid or not to TBN, from grabbing key words from a post and converting it to a path to their site.
As an example, I try not to use the words Lawn Tractor together in posts
anymore as it usually converts "Lawn Tractor" to a path to some Cub Cadet dealer. If that is being done w/o TBN's knowledge and approval then some hacker could make good words go to bad places.

As you see in my post above the words Lawn Tractor have been turned blue and are a path to a dealer. Since I didn't bracket it in this post it will probably be the same here.

I have just over 2700 subscriptions, so I don't think there is a limit.

That is something that is being done by TBN with an advertising service called Pointroll. I think that it has a list of words that it uses. Annoying though.

What I should have asked : Could there be a limit/number of subscriptions per member that is programmed into the TBN system that some administrator decided they had us hooked on the site so they would still maintain most of the traffic even if they stopped sending email notifications?

Iam not getting them either. I have personally asked tbn for their servers and aliases and checked with my contacts within the email groups and they have verified AT&T is not blocking. I have offered up my services to help. I will help in anyway to get this resolved

I received my last E-mail from TBN to my "triad.rr.com" account on May 12 as 1:35 AM, and then no more. I tried to E-mail myself from TBN yesterday, no good.

I screen my main mail program with web mail, and if the mail was going to my spam folder, I would see it. That doesn't mean someone or some thing is not grabbing them before they hit my account though.

I have never had problems with this account before...a few months back while they were trying to fix E-mail problems for others, I lost it briefly, but now it seems down for good.

I think there are so may emailer variables that they can't keep everybodies servers and proxies happy..

I am pretty ignorant about such things. I am trying to learn though.

I just found this page, which may shed some light, but much of it is new to me.

It explains how to determine what happened, but I am not the sender, so I don't know what code my guys are tossing to TBN to decode.

I have attempted to do the Gmail thing, and have it forward to my main account. So far, I have received the notices into Gmail, but none have been forwarded yet. Whether it just takes time, or whether the approach will fail, I don't yet know.

since having my email addy for a couple decades.. I don't plan on getting a disposable one to play with.. I just log on.. hit 'my home' and see what's been responded to that I'm subscribed to and call it a day..

I was doing that too, but I have found it to be less effective for me...but I may wind up doing it anyway.

Edit: I am going to use My Home, and unsubscribe to the threads as I encounter them, and only keep a bare few threads subscribed. I changes a setting a while back to automatically subscribe if I comment, but I am thinking I have become subscribed to too many threads, and probably comment too much anyway.

I may be better off reading more, writing less, and also finding other things to do with the time anyway.

Thanks. I did get my subscriptions down to a more reasonable level. I think I may leave the auto-subscribe on, but periodically, go to My Home, subscriptions, last page, flag them all, and then unsubscribe to that entire page, and only keep something like three pages of subscriptions max. I don't think it matters that much to the E-mail issue, but I did need to clean up a little for sure.

Still have not received even one forwarded E-mail from Gmail yet. I'll give it 24 hrs. to see if that works.

The only reason I care is if someone were to PM me, and I am not checking Gmail frequently, I won't know it for days.

I do have the PM's "pop" when I log in, so that is a good point.

Right now, I am still doing the "My Home" thing, and I am starting to like that better than I thought. I'm a creature of habit, and I suppose I don't like change...but sometimes when I get used to a change, I wonder why I minded.

If they don't get their page template stabilized pretty quick and if it still includes a video advertisement at the top like this morning where you have to wait 15 seconds to skip it, they won't need to fix the email notification problem, at least for me and probably a lot of others.. We will not waste time on this site anymore.
