Forum Upgrade - Any Issues?

Per the "iPhone connection temporarily disabled" thread, the trouble with "Participated" is being sent to the developer. There are two other items that I perceive as issues with the iPhone version:
1. In current threads I see the thread title in bold then two lines of text that used to be the first lines of the FIRST post. Now it is the first lines of the most recent post. Makes it difficult to judge if a thread is worth exploring.
2. Before, once a thread has been read, the bold title becomes non-bold - indicating that it has not been updated since I last read. Now, when the thread listing is refreshed, all thread titles become bold again, even if there have been no more additional posts.

Oops... the web version let me post twice about two seconds apart. I thought that there was a timer to prevent.

I didn't read through the 45 pages of feedback, so this might have already been mentioned, but the icon to the left of each thread that displays whether or not I have posted in that thread or not is missing. Also the quick navigation drop down box is actually slower than the old one. Personally I liked the old format better.

I have already brought both up but seems to be looked over or not a big deal to anyone? Thanks for also bringing it up!!

I have found that ieSpell doesn't work well with this forum. It corrects the spelling, but doesn't completely overwrite the changed word...
I end up with an extra syllable or two.
This is with MS Vista and IE9.

There was a discussion about that somewhere... The software was way behind current release so I would venture to say that it forced new formats on the system. Additionally Muhammad said that the old format was years worth o tweaking.
Those 2 items make an upgrade or conversion challenging to make something look the same....

I don't know if anyone but me has mentioned this, or if it happens to anyone else but on the homepage the drop down menus open UNDER the graphics. On my work PC they open under the left Wallenstein flash graphic and on my home laptop they drop under the Mahindra Youtube video.

Odd, I see [COLOR="#0000FF"]this[/COLOR][B][/B] when I quote you. If I type, then choose blue and then choose to bold, it works as it should (like this), but if I hit Ctrl+Z in the middle, it goes to the end of the word.

this ... I typed this, hililted it, then chose bold then color and got what precedes. An extra step and still wrong. Reversing i get this... and smilies wont add at the moment.

This is the same thing that happens with the quick nav button on the bottom of the thread.

The only thing I can get is the "sign up now" popup.
That and an invitation from 'Stephanie' who is 'online now' and wants to get together.
Hope she doesn't mind if I drag my oxygen tank along.
I see this as a classic case of, "We will install this software upgrade on this date". I've been through it too many times. Rather than waiting until the test region proves the bugs have been contained, the 'date' comes first.
I guess somethings will never change. The 'little people who actually do the work", are the last to be considered.

This upgrade was not ready for production status.

Yea why dont we block the "dating" adds?

Would also like to see the "posts since last visit icon" used that almost exclusively on the old version (Ilike ti see all aspects of Tractor by Net so use the always)

I got them last week but don't get them now.

That icon is now called "NEW POSTS"
