Sure does, it was 107 one day this week; don't know about today, but it was HOT.

Nice Tractor...i especially like the hydraulic top n tilt. I have yet to use my 3pt on my 4740HSTC due to the backhoe...its just so darn handy on there.

I haven't put anything on ours yet as I am pushing some trees out of the way and it is pretty tight in some places, but I used a TnT a few years ago and liked it.

I do mowing mostly, so I passed on a back hoe, well that and the $$$$$:laughing::laughing:

I was wondering how well you liked the seat in the 5740..... when I took a Cab 5240 for a test ride the seat in the 5240 seemed awful stiff to me.....when compared to the M series tractors.

I really had mixed emotions as our L5030 HSTC only had about 1400 hours on it and is a really good tractor, but there are some features on the L5740 that I really like and you only live once. I will give the AC a good test Saturday as it is supposed to be 105 here with high humidity.

There is a significant difference in ride quality between our M8540 suspension seat tractor and the L5740 suspension seat. Someone else who owns both commented on this not long ago,

I grew up driving tractors with steel seats and others with little to no suspension and I find the Grand L seats to be quite comfortable, but the larger wheels, much larger size and weight of the M Series combined with a larger seat with more range of travel in the seat suspension and "softer" springs make the ride in the M considerably better. There are a couple of areas on one of our farms where I mow in some one to two feet deep series of washouts and the ride is pretty uncomfortable in a GL or any smaller tractor while the M8540 just goes through with relative comfort. Part due to a better seat and part due to the larger tires that bridge the bumps and of course the extra weight. Or at least that's my impression.

I really like the Grand L Series, but the M Series is just more comfortable.
