New B2620 1400/1800RPM vibration!!

   / New B2620 1400/1800RPM vibration!! #11
Seriously, I think it will be fine. One thing that was annoying on the BH65 was the rattle of the control levers caused by the vibration that sounded like someone shaking a can of coins behind me. I did a thread on a simple fix that took care of that. I since took a page out of your play book and traded that unit to Barlows for a B3300 TLB and I'm pretty happy now. I even hauled the 2920 to Kentucky to see the place in person!

If you remember what the fix was I'd be interested, or if you could point me in the right direction. I keep my BH off most of the time, but that idle vibration is very annoying.

I would say it's because it might be the tier 4 engine 2008 spec or above the 2008. I think the fix is changing fuel timing and flow. Don't take that to the bank because it's a guess on my part. I sure wish I new how to change them, would love to play around.

I really need to spend more time with it at different situations. I've only used it a couple of times and seems OK when revs are up over 2000rpm . Engine seems to be running smooth but it's mostly in the seat where the vibration is coming thru. The BH is off the ground. I added some Power Service to see if maybe fuel but I don't think so.
I had a B3200 which some people seemed to think it had vibration issues over 3000rpm but was never an issue for me since I didn't usually run it much over the 3000/3200rpm. I had a B7800 and couldn't tell if it vibrated bad or not, it was early on in my tractor life, it was a tractor so I didn't expect it to run like a car.:) Maybe it was rough running and maybe not.
After pondering I believe the B2320 vibrated more than the BXs. Hummm, maybe I'm expecting the Bs to run like the BXs.
OK I've got to do more running time and maybe go by Barlows and try one of their B2620s to see how it does in comparison.

My 2012 B2620 TLB has 22 hours on it and the motor runs fairly smoothly. The backhoe does make a bit of noise. It appears the stabilizer controls and the tool box do make some noise at mid range throttle. The loader seems to have "echo" at mid range as well. I took off the loader and the BH and it was very quiet. my rear tires are loaded so that might dampen any vibration and or noise. Good luck

Have a new B2620HST which has 1.3 hours on it. Hit the key and instant start, let it warm up a bit, start increasing throttle and seat feels like a high powered vibrator has been turned on at around 1400RPM:confused: and up to a bit over 1800RPM and then it smooths out.
This isn't my first Kubota tractor:D and it isn't my first B model Kubota tractor. I can say it's my first 2012 B2620HST with FEL and Backhoe. So.........you owners with a new B2620 HST Backhoe (Has a different seat than a B without a BH which is transmitting the vibration) step up and tell me your experience.
Let me repeat, this isn't my first Kubota so I've got SOME experience with Kubotas but none before have done this but the seat on the BX25 is different than the seat on the B2620 with BH.

I have the exact same unit and about 50 hours on it now almost all BH or post hole auger use.
Way smooth without any trouble.

With so few hours I would get your dealer to look at it asap before having people guess from afar.

BTW mine has been a great unit exceeding all my expectations and tasks I have thrown at it so far.

JohnThomas - Let us know how you like the new B65 backhoe when you get some hours on it. I'm thinking about getting one at some point when I'm feeling rich.

So, your saying you feel NO vibration in the seat at any RPMs?

for what its worth I too have a B2920 and it whines rattles and shakes much MUCH more than my former BX2200 and BX22. Although I have been very happy with the B platform as i still think its a nice compromise in size and capability for me but I have been extrmely dissapointed in these types of issues. The BH linkage is crap. Would I buy it agian - yes - just isnt what I would call Kubotas best effort.
