Murphy1244 we purchased the jail equiptment division from the company in the 60s and also one or two employees transferred to va to work with us . Riker's Island is one place where the equiptment is still functioning to this day. The company was run or majorly owned by Laury Jones.who made a great impression on me as a 12 or 13 year old. Thanks for letting me know and please op forgive me for using this thread to discover this

The replacement rear glass pane and weather strip came in. The MY2012 version is a single piece so I don't have to mess with cutting and gluing it together!

It went on real easy.

And the washer motor fits correctly now.

When I spoke to the parts manager yesterday, he told me the cab frame finally shipped from the Monterrey, Mexico factory Wednesday and is expected it to arrive this coming Wednesday. So it looks like they can finally swap out the cab frame towards the end of next week. It's now been over a month since the part was ordered. Guess Deere doesn't stock these cab frames at all...

Looks like a real nice fit!

Nicely done and does look like a nice fit. Do you have the extra caps for the back window? Because I think they're some that need caps, unless your rear wiper kit solved that.

Yep, it fit real nice! No caps needed, the rear wiper kit uses all 3 "extra" holes.

Any advice on what adhesive to use and how to make a nice clean cut? The weatherstrip has a metal band in it.

This adhesive seems ready-made for the job. I used it on my pickup truck with good results.

Super Weatherstrip Adhesive :3M US

One tip: go sparingly when you apply it. Use a brush or something to make a thin coat on the gasket and the window. Don't just glob it in the channel. Give it a bit to get tacky (instructions on the box, but who reads those), then press together to seal. Like using rubber cement.

If you need to clean it up, it is darn near impossible once it has dried. The guy at AutoZone said that lacquer thinner would clean it, and boy howdy did it ever.

I took these pics today after dropping the tractor off yesterday. It sure looks a lot different without the cab!

I didn't realize the engine and transmission aren't directly bolted together but rather use this long skinny drive-shaft between them.

And here's a shot of the old cab (with lots of stuff still attached to it).

Wow major surgery! Thanks for the sharing the pics!

That drive shaft is unusual. Never seen that on a modern farm tractor. Of course I never would with a cab on it! Haha!
