Meteor 68" with no shear pin...

Picked up a used 2010 68" Meteor, but there is no shear pin for the impeller. The auger has one, but the PTO shaft that came with it has no shear pin, and I do not beleive the guy had a slip clutch. Manual mentions the shear pin should be on the shaft, but not there. Anyone have any experience before I call MK Martin on Monday?

On my mine there is a shear pin on the PTO shaft just before it goes into the gear box. There is also one on the shaft that powers the auger. Are you sure its not hidden by any shrouds.

Positive.....my old Meteor had the shear pin on the shaft, but this one uses two of the same ends, the ones that have the push pin release/lock button. I even took off the plastic cover to cut down the shaft, no shear pin. I'm wondering if the guy had a slip clutch, but I did not see it when I picked it up.

So i talked to MK Martin (third time I've contacted them, GREAT company to deal with) and it should have a shear pin end. Off to the local JD dealer to grap a new yoke tomorrow before the snow that might hit us Thursday.
