Really not trying to stir the pot, but I'm still trying to figure out why EA did NOT think that pair of crossed chains in one of the pics of the hitch originally posted (in the now missing thread) qualified as a hitch stabilizer - what's the diff between chaining the left link to the right and the right link to the left vs. each link to its own side? ... Chaining from link to link only really keeps the links from getting too far apart. A stabilizer goes from each link to the tractor itself so that (when attached to a bushhog or other implement) they limit sway from side to side.

This has nothing to do with the original problem but when I read a post from EA I don't know if it's Ted responding or someone else within the company. Sometimes the way the posts are worded it seems like its Ted but most times its appears to be posted by someone else, but with Ted's name in the signature line its misleading, to me anyway. If its someone other than Ted would it be possible to just sign the post with Jim or Fred or something so we know who is talking to us?

I though the same thing reading the responses from EA above. Clearly that is a log-in used by several people at EA.

Some people have easily recognized patterns of their own.
A truism, both undefined and unshown in the depth of your example.

The pic is not available. Crossed chains could easily be very effective at limiting sway. Wed know if we could see how they were employed.

Let's let it go guys! I did see the original post! OK, I see his point & now I see EA point!

I agree with Roy, if the other two threads have been deleted then this one should be too.

I don't think this one will be deleted, after all being an advertiser they are paying to post their side whereas the OP was not paying.

Well I think it is totally irresponsible for EA to allow their employees to have a weekend with their families, they should be available 24/7, furthermore I expect EA to not only offer their kits for 50% of the going price of said implement but EA should send an employee with each kit to help with assembly. SARCASM

Seriously I glanced at the original thread briefly and I believe someone even mentioned it was the weekend, holy box blade, cut EA some slack. They are just folks just trying to make a living like most of us and I think they go over and beyond what a lot of small business' and most all big business' do. Just the fact that they started this thread proves to me they are stand up folks and come new attachment time for me they will get top consideration.

I'll second that. Well said tungulara

Note the first sentence in the original post:
Ted wanted me to make a thread to address any questions/concerns that anyone has...

So, it isn't Ted responding...
