Well, as the OP on the now-infamous "disappeared" thread, I suppose I'll chime in.

Thanks for your input. I read and posted on the origional and didn't think your post was out of line. However, not all but some of the members that jumped on the bandwagon (so to speak) didn't help you out.

Always interesting when initiating a discussion on a forum- you have shouted out a statement in a virtual room of thousands.......... never know who's listening

Chalk me up as a huge fan of EA. I dropped a few grand there today and trust I will be happy when my order arrives. Travis went out of his way to make sure the order was coordinated and that I would get what I need. I have purchased from EA before and was extremely happy then and am sure I will be this time as well. We need more vendors like EverythingAttachments.com

Every vendor deserves to take the weekend off and a little patience on all of our parts keeps this forum useful and a great source of information. It sounds like the OP had great intentions, but others may have taken the thread down a different path.

Chalk me up as someone who will NEVER buy anything from EA.

In response to the deletion of the critical thread from over the weekend, rather than addressing the problems brought up in the posts. I promise to NEVER buy anything from EA.

Sponsor or no, that is unacceptable to me.

I will take a few of the posts and advice from the thread to heart and will purchase attachments LOCALLY, supporting my local dealers rather than getting something unsupported and un-inspected via the internet.

Attachments on my agenda in no particular order...
Larger, heavier box blade
Heavier hydraulic rear blade
Light weight landscape rake for quick, light arena grooming on smaller tractor

Except that it was TBN (not EA) who closed the thread (for brand bashing, nor for sponsor bashing) and EA had no idea that the thread even existed until after the fact.

Correct. The folks at EA are good people, run a good business and give their people weekends off. I never expect a business response other than during business hours.

If anyone wants to buy local, that is great. I appreciate buying local and/or off of the Internet.

I finally tracked down Ted over at Everything Attachments (he's a busy guy, keeping production going on EE's ever expanding line of attachments) and talked to him for a bit.

It turns out that we may have had a little miscommunication going on since he's not a big typist and has someone else type up his responses to email/forum correspondence. I treated the emails to be a verbatim transcription of his response, which was not the case.

Ted also let me know that if I felt I had a functional problem with the implement, he'd have it shipped back to EE and he would ship me out a replacement.

I think Ted's comments went a long way towards establishing EE's commitment to quality and post-sale customer support.

I believe Ted will address his issue with understanding at EA...:)
I'm glad you got some direct feedback...

I knew you guys were customer friendly. More videos, go Peanut!!

Sounds like none of this would have happened if Ted could type. LOL. Glad things are working out.

Hush up now. We all want Ted spending as much time as possible building implements and making videos.

I'm glad to hear that everything got worked out.

I'm also glad that EA started this thread to clear the air...............They have earned a great deal of respect IMHO.

This is Travis. Rick and I take most of the sales calls at ETA and I do most of the posting here on TBN. The answers to questions directed to Ted are from Ted but are posted by me because emailing/typing aren't really his thing. Ted has a lot going on and spends much of his time at the factory working with engineering, developing new attachments, making videos, working with Nate on our website and keeping everything else together among other things.

Thank you for clearing this up. I can appreciate how busy Ted and others at EA can be and that posting here in response to every question may not be an effective use of their time.

Note the first sentence in the original post:

So, it isn't Ted responding...

Yes, but who is it?

And my comment/suggestion was concerning ALL posts by EA and others where more than one person uses the same logon (which I don't know why that is allowed anyway) in general, not this thread.

And this right here proves my point:

It turns out that we may have had a little miscommunication going on since he's not a big typist and has someone else type up his responses to email/forum correspondence. I treated the emails to be a verbatim transcription of his response, which was not the case.

Is it too much to ask when more than one person uses a logon to post to a place such as this that the person who is making a statement that their business may be asked to stand behind or otherwise support identify themselves? I think not. Otherwise I for example might call and say "well on TBN you (not knowing exactly who) said this or that". And the response could easily be "we never said that" or "who told you that", and you would have no name to connect the dots with.

I'm used to any time I make a entry in our computer system at work to having to sign and date my comments in those areas wcomputer comouter does not track the entries by User ID. I also remember the days of paper landooks anad the way we were instructed to make log entries in the form of:

Date
Comments
Signature

So I guess I am spoiled (or used to) by knowing who is saying what.

Every post I make here at TBN is Id'd by my user id and the date/time it was made. And since I am the only one who uses this ID (that I know of) then the comments are from me, no mystery.

But when two or more people use the same ID all that I was suggesting is that the person making the post sign with their first name so we can tell one person's posts here from another. Makes it easier to comprehend sometimes when you know who is talking. My Kreskin powers are somewhat limited and I don't want to make assumptions.

EA answered my question and I responded and thanked them for the follow up.

As mentioned previously, Ted is a busy person. When I stopped in back in October to visit, He was tied up with a
customer and I did not get to meet him while I was there. I have mentioned in another thread, I met Greg and
Travis and had a tour and nice visit. It is mentioned on their website their hours are M - F 8 to 5.

Good to know. It seems that today most companies only want to sell you something but don't want to offer any service. I can spend my money anywhere but I prefer to spend it with people who are willing to earn it.
