Yea, if the earthworms dodge the round, some poor slob in China is up next.
Oh yes ... I'm quite sure that there is absolutely no possibility of a hard object existing on the ground, one that might cause a ricochet and deflect the bullet towards someone in the immediate environment ...

The "geniuses" among us always seem to be possessed of that kind of certainty ... of course, they are possessed of their own hubris as well ... usually in spades ... and then some ...

GOOD that means you found a way to calculate the odds of that passerby injury. What did you come up with? <= I wanted to use one in case you use them all up. It's your favorite, and we've certainly noticed that by now.

Kind of an eye opener isn't it?..I never thought a whole lot about recoil of shotguns, as I am a large male, and have shot shotguns for years in competition. But for a small framed person, it could make a difference. Not to mention multiple assailants at varying distances.

Yeah, a small framed person certainly can get accustomed to a shotgun and do quite well, but it takes more practice than most are willing to do. I am too wobbly to use anything more than a .243 so a shotgun is out for me. My son trained a lot of people with shotguns and the most common misconception was you don't need to aim, just point and shoot which is aptly demonstrated in the video.

For skeet and other fun, I use a 410. Everything serious, a .22 or a .38. Easy accuracy, and loaded right, either will do what I intend them to do.

There are 2 layers of dry wall, they break up on the first one & rarely go through the second. There are a lot of others out there, many called 'Frangible" Look them up. Lots of different options.

A .410 is a marksman's round... OOPs; I was going to make a comment "a lot of men call it a woman's gun, yet every woman I know who learns to shoot can outgun most men..."

then I saw who I was responding to. ;)

Yep, might be a "woman's gun", but if one is accurate, and loaded right, it will get the job done! I would rather be accurate and unflinching, rather than flinch and squint, and miss the mark. So, I have no problems with it being a "woman's gun", and it doesn't bother me that some call it that. :D

Kind of my point... as I said before every woman I've known who takes the time to learn to shoot can outgun most men. (Except for guys like my boss... who competitively shoots nationally. ;))

.410 shells are expensive too. I've only seen (and owned) single shot .410, does anyone make a pump? If not then I'm not sure if I would want one for self defense.
