Found a local auto parts store that sells ethanol free gasoline by the gallon. At $17.95/gal it's steep but it's 94 octane and guaranteed for 2 years. AvGas at the local airport is $6.20/gal. Think I'll head to the airport come fall.

Ethanol free 94 octane is about $3.90 here. Several of the local stations have it.

Haven't priced it yet, but if you need mixed gas, Stihl has the 92 octane 50:1 Motomix. At least up here in Canada.

http://http://en.stihl.ca/motomix.aspx

Info below, taken from the Canadian site. Must be ultra stable stuff, (at least compared to pump gas today) as they are quoting 2 years after the can is open. Rgds, D.

Motomixョ Premixed Fuel

Ditto, same stuff here runs $4ish a gallon and one station in West Memphis, AR has it around here.
I run it in everything with a carb on it and the difference in ease of starting in performance is simply AMAZING.
I call it Viagra gas for my old 25 horse Johnson 2 cyl / 2 stroke - it makes its sticker peck out!

I haven't found any ethanol free gas in my area, wish I could. None of the marina's I have talked with have it either. :(

Those lists are not updated causing me to take a unsuccessful trip.

It is fairly common around here as most of the commercial lawn service companies use it and there is a demand. Also, it is usually readily available around boating areas and runs about a dollar more than the same octane ethanocrap fuel. 100LL Avgas is not a good substitute for modern small engines as the lead causes issues with them. There is some 96 octane racing fuel around in areas with auto tracks. Check the website puregas.org for stations in your area.

Plenty of stations around here offering ethanol free gas but just super. The price is about the same price as ethanol super. That's all I buy for the chainsaw.

Often the landscaper guys know the ethanol free stations best. They have a lot of expensive small gas engines they need to keep in top shape. I learned of a hometown station that way that I didn't know had ethanol free premium.

Nice and Easy in my area has non-ethanol 91 octane. I have 2 vehicles that require at least 91. Just filled one yesterday at 4.14 9/10 a gallon (ouch)

According to Pure-gas.org... the nearest ethanol free gas to me is 2 hrs away. :(
Thanks for the link, I will save it and check it occasionally to see if anything shows up closer.

I'd have to cross two state lines to get to the closest one to me.
Probably a 2 hour drive, one way, if I time the traffic just right.
If there's an accident, then it's "a three hour tour, a three hour tour".
Until this changes, it's Sta-Bil in the green bottle for me.
