2013 Hay Season

Finally got my other field baled, about 4 acres and got 8.75 bales out of it (4x5's). The yield would have been a little better if we could have cut 3-4 weeks ago but the rain did not allow. Here is a couple pics of me getting the bales out.

well thought we would mow some hay today but checked the field's out and water was standing in 3 out of 5 field's so if it don't rain maby wensday. mowed about 20 acres to day.

Thanks, Bigfoot! 1.6" in the last 36-40 hours. Chance for more through the next 48 hours. For the middle of July, I'll take all that I can get, and be really thankful!

Baled ~330 bales today and delivered to a friend (she wants 450 bales of first cut). Hoping to bale another 4-500 bales tommrow.
