well i dug around on the tractor again today and after everything it still wants to die after abour 5min of running around, it feels like there no fuel going to the injectors or kind of like its siezing up but the temp never gets over 90c, the throttle becomes very un- responsive and it wants to die, you can be at 1000rpms and put the throttle wide open and it will take 4 or 5 sec for it to get to 2200rpms I did get my alt to work today by loosining and re tight all the wires that go to it, it puts out a wopping 14.8v at 1500 rpms and around 13.9 at 1000rpms, I also used some fla cracker engeneering today and made a capture tank for the rad now dont laugh when you see the pic it works and was free and only took 5min to make if that haha, also i have to add a WARNING to anyone that has empathy for mechanical things do not go any farther on this post it will hurt you, and you wont be able to sleep for days , ok bob i took the primper pump down today and here are the pics of the plungers, if you blow up the pics you will be able to see that the discs did have some stuff on the face of them, i took 2000 grit sand paper and tryed to smooth them out, i might get in there again if it didnt work and smooth them out again or can i buy new discs, also I couldnt put the tractor in second gear never have been able to so i took off both of the cover plates, that will be the pic that anyone that is squeemish doesnt want to look at

I think the transport oil was never flushed. Drain what's in there, flush it with kerosene, fill it with 30 weight oil, you might be surprised at the improvement.

ESCH kind of looks pretty rusty/ cruddy there. Maybe try some sort of degreaseing spray and something like Orange Glow to get some of the rusty gook off and WD40 to dry it out w some compressed air. :/ Not sure what would really clean it up is it actually RUST or just Grunge on there (kind of hard to tell.)

well i got in there with some 60 grit sand paper I put a rag over the gears they look great but the shift rods were kinda funki, i put a rag on top of the gears and went to sanding and they came out good then i oiled them up and gave the second gear rod a few light taps with a hammer and now i have 2nd gear and the tractor shifts like a lexas hahah well maby a 1970 munci m21 rock crusher at least hahaha, it does shift smooth now with no hang ups, I went to harbor freight today and got some new toys, i got 2 new torque wrenches so now i have there whole set 1/4 3/8 and 1/2in all for 10.00 each and I also bought a stetha scope and a infa red tep gun man that thing is cool i tested the temp gauge on the tractor to the temp at the sending unit and the tractor gauge was about 5 deg c warmer then the temp at the sending unit, i also tested the temp on the head on the valve side and it was way hotter then on the block were the pistons are and also was much hotter then the oil pan, that got me to thinking could i be loosing power when it heats up do to my valves being too tight ? and could the valves being too tight make it want to run on the warm side also

also the fluid in the trans area is a red fluid and looks nasty but it does have an oily feel but im gonna drop it this weekend and put some diesel in a graden sprayer and pressure wash it all down in there with diesel and then look at it and maby do a little scrubbing on the walls if it still looks funki, i think a drain and spray will prob do the trick tho, ive got a 5 gal tub of unv tractor fluid in the barn i fig that should work in there good

I wouldn't do that if I were you. That oil wasn't formulated for this type of machine. Stick with gear oil that has high shear strength, like 80w90. UTF is like 10w oil.

so i should fill the tractor with 80-90 in my manual it says to use n46 transmission drive & hydraulic duel purpose oil, in the gearbox, rear axle, front drive axle,and hydraulic system , so the utf wont work

hey bob i just ckd and if iso 46 is the same as n46 thats what i have and the iso 46 is has the same weight as SAE 20 or its Equivalent
