:mur: okay I finally have begun using the 3 point hitch...you push the lever forward to lower the hitch and it stays forward and does not spring back to neutral like it does when you raise the hitch. Already I have bumped that lever several times and had the implement drop to the ground unexpectedly, once gouging my brand new concrete driveway. I'm a handy guy I can rig a spring under there probably but is it supposed to work this way??

This might help ya figure out what is going on. I had the same problem.

Thanks Freddieboy, looks like I'll have to redesign it to work properly and avoid these accidental lowering of the hitch.

One shot one kill!! I no sooner got the back of my property cleared of trees, stumps, and roots and the grass seed and fert spread and Mr. Mole moved right in and dug a bunch of holes. :censored: I did a lot of research on getting rid of these moles, I have at least 3 of them on the property. Keep in mind here in WA state any type of body grabbing or snare type traps are illegal thanks to the government morons so my choices were limited. So it was $100 but I purchased this .27 caliber Molecat device. I followed the instructions and set the trap out yesterday afternoon, 24 hours later no new mole holes so I went out and checked the trap and darn if the thing hadn't already gone off, RIP Mr. mole. You can see where it blew the scent bag wide open. It fires blanks and rids the moles with concussion.

Just used the 60" MMM for the first time on some 2 foot tall grass, set the mower to the highest height setting, 2300 rpm's and its like the grass wasn't even there it didn't bog down at all, no change to RPM's its like there wasn't any load on the tractor at all from the grass. Yeah I had my chest puffed out! Grass was also a bit wet and thick stalked as it grew so tall and went to seed. I'm pretty happy with that.

Thought I'd revive this old post with a link to what I have been working on with my B2920 and BH65. Amazing the amount of work I can do with such a small machine, but this work is VERY hard on the machine (and the operator). At times I've been thrown around so much that if I hadn't been wearing a hard hat I would have knocked myself out on the ROPS.

I'm sure a bx could do this work also...not!

New the the forum. Bought a B2920 last Oct '13. FEL , BH65 and 60" MMM. Wife wasn't sure at first but after using it to move old mulch and clear mulberry tree from one of our tree line I think she is beinging to like it. She does mow with it and sem to be ok with it.

I have some questions and hope someone out there can help me with. First the backhoe will slowly drift down over a couple days to the floor if I don't pin it, is this normal and is anybody else having issue. Second if I don't place the mower height adjustment to "top" the 3 pt hitch will go down and lower the MMM, I don't have any implements yet to see if the same thing will happen. I did just take it back in to get a hose replaced but stil have the issue. Hope someone can help with this issue.

Not sure about the back hoe but that sounds normal. The MMM is also normal. You have to set the height adjustment to top position to keep it from lowering. You can also use 1/2 inch pins through the holes to pin the MMM up but the MMM has to be about perfectly level left to right to do this or I guess you could use a slightly smaller pin to get it through the hole but then the back of the mower will drift down more when you lower it.

Totally normal, pretty much anything hydraulic drifts over time if the pump is off. It should not drift when it's on. For the BH use the pins and you'll be good. I also use a bungy to keep the BH stabilizers in place when it's on the backhoe dolly I built so they don't fall and prevent wheeling it around.
