hmm.. I could spare an acre...

An acre? What about one plant for 2x2 feet, or 4 sq ft? One acre might produce 11,000 plants.
Can one plant produce $200?. That's about $2.3 million for one harvest.

Around here when the law finds plants, they value them at $2000, even if they are just sprouts. A good, big healthy plant can bring in $2K, but most will not be even close to that. Not to mention half will be males and will have to be pulled up before they bloom.

1 week?

That's pretty fast. Makes me wonder if a realtor might not have been a good investment...

I put our place in Pennsylvania (before we moved to VT) on Craigslist because I thought the realtor wasn't going to ask enough...so my CL price was $10K above her price.
Got several people looking at the place...which was being sold "as is". We got the bid within 2 weeks. Our realtor actually cost us money, rather then making us money. Long story, and I'm not going into all the details here...but I'd be mighty leery about using a realtor next time.
Remember, realtors are there to make money...but not necessarily to make the seller money.

Now, a caveat....Vermont real estate is a pretty dead market due to the extraordinary high taxes and lack of jobs. PA was a fairly brisk market, so my experience isn't an apples to apples comparison.

Interesting topic... my buddy told me a story about pot vs. alcohol and the domestic family abuse it brings. Supposedly(statistically) alcohol creates more family/wife/children abuse compared to pot users. My buddy was at a trade show and our fine men in red - rcmp were there with a display of drugs -heroine, pots, lsd etc. My buddy is very smart and likes challenging others and the status quo... so with a few people milling about the display - he asks the question to the rcmp rep: do you guys have stats on the following - pot vs. alcohol and the family abuse it brings? The other lookers stopped, paid attention and waited for a reply - there was non! Absolutely no comment or response... he pressed the question but got nowhere...

Would definitely do the pie, cookies, turkey, chicken baking thing - anything to move it along. Good luck!

Lloyd,

In my 30 years in law enforcement I would say it is a toss up between both. A dependence pot or alcohol can be a big factor to domestic and child abuse. The use of illegal drugs brings on a set of problems not seen with alcohol (unless you are brewing moonshine). Not only is there a greater chance for legal issues with pot use but the problems that the dealer may bring into a home that the pkg store won't. Domestic issues with alcohol are more often reported just for the fact that use of alcohol is "legal" where the use of pot is not. One reason is a spouse may also use or because it is illegal they do not report the abuse fearing the problems that pot use may bring to the family. Family violence and child abuse is under reported, child abuse more than spousal abuse.
