How many have concealed carry permit to carry a gun ?

Bought a lifetime permit in Indiana to carry. Worth the money. Many reasons to conceal a gun. Weather in the city or woods! Makes things legal in all respects. Everyone be safe!

Every American Citizen who is able should get a concealed carry permit. The numbers of folks with permits scare the hashtags out of those who would like to remove your second amendment right. It also send the message that you may know my name in a database, but on the street you don't know who has a gun or not.
Legally, in CO (open cary state) if you have gun on and your jacket falls over it, you have just become a concealed carrier. Better to have a permit than get harassed over the infraction.

I've had one for years, just wished our state had a lifetime option, but $60 for five years ain't too bad. I even kept it current while working as a LEO, knowing that I wasn't going to be a cop for the rest of my life.

confiscating guns...in Texas. id think your the last state to worry about that. I got mine while i still could. didnt know what garbage was coming down the pike.

I won't even dispute we can be complacent...not even close.
But 20 years ago, most states didn't have a concealed carry permit system...now all do (some, like MD and IL, it's quite unwillingly). Firearms sales are climbing steadily....violent crime is decreasing. When I left Pennsylvania a year ago, the number of women obtaining a permit (LCTF: License to Carry Firearms) was increasing dramatically.
Although the anti-rights people in government are in power now...their hold is tenuous. It's our job to ensure they realize how tenuous that hold is...

Nearly impossible to get one in MD but I do have one for VA that covers me in NC also. Maybe one day MD will loosen-up!
