My dad built a few things for this 455, first is a little grader, originally it had a manual angle blade, but he modified it a few weeks ago to use the front mount JD quick attach. So now hes got hydraulic angle as well. Second is a 3pt hitch potato hiller.

Cool looking grader. Is he happy with how it works. Looks like the blade may be a bit too close to the rear wheels.

He loved it before the change to the jd blade and quick attach. He took it up and down the driveway once after the change, found out the pivot pin/bushing are worn out a bit far so he gets washboard easier. We'll get rid of the play at the pivot and try again.

Good eye. It's welded on in the picture, but I did that just as a mock-up. The finished design (pix coming soon) uses two 5/8- bolts on each side plus four 1/2" bolts across the face to attach the bucket to the plow.

I must be missing something! What keeps the plow attached to the bucket?
Or is it welded as one.

A bit embarrest to show my meegre efforts after seeing some of the work in this thread but here goes.

Once i bought my tractor and restored it i had no implements, cashflow being low as i spent a bit more than expected on the restore i gathered up some leftovers and built a carry all box for the rear. As you can see its got round and square stock, anything that could be used was.

Having a small road trailer for my car and nothing for the tractor i made a 3 point attachment with ball hitch

You may wonder what the chains are for, the lift arms on lots of these small tractors are actuated by a simple cylinder they lift but only lower by whatever weight is on them and can easily be lifted(even by hand) by the trailer should the weight go to the back for any reason, the chains stop this happening and makes the job safer.

I made a brush fork for the Front End Loader of my (sold) BX-24 tractor, it became my favorite attachment.
Then I made 5 mini-stick rakes that pin onto the tines of the brush fork.

Then I got a mini-excavator with a thumb.

Recently started adapting the mini-stick-rakes to the excavator. Not tested yet but hoping be able to rake up sticks like its nobody's business! ….and drop them on a trailer…..then tow the trailer (with excavator) to the burn pile……and toss it on the burnpile with the X! Fun stuff?
