Comedy relief, a new career! I made it home ok in a rented Hyandai Elontra (sp). That is, after I was ran off the road just this side of Manor. Went all the way into the grass on 290's medium, fish tailing as I went. The clown never saw me as he just turned on his left turn indicator and pulled into the left lane.............right where I was. Scared the snot out of me. I had the shakes afterwards while my eyes leaked. But I'm home now. Not the best two travel days in my life!

Brandi, you're not in the big red truck that will not fit in anyone blind spot anymore. Be careful and keep alert with the defensive driving.

I think all of the surprise stuff was a down payment on the installation of the stair lift to come later.....

Your so right. That's the main reason I drive a huge truck. I could have rented a Ram pickup, but could not justify the extra $100. Maybe next time I'll rent a pickup. I hate small cars.

Did anyone get a chance to check the illumination of the concrete ramp at night?
It looks like the existing spotlight aimed that way would be blocked by the back of the lift mechanism and the light over the garage door
would just cast shadows through the staircase rails. The unit might have to be used at night so non glare lighting of the
wheelchair path is important.
You guys did a great job in a short period of time and will always be remembered for it.

pacerron, the electrical Mike installed at the corner of the deck would be a good place to plug in two lights. One facing the sidewalk and one facing the lift. Good thought!

Just an update, Jim and I absolutely love the wheelchair lift. We've been up and down and out and about several times here at the house. It is great!! What freedom and the lift works so well. You all did such a super job. Thank you to all!!
