My GR2120 and snowblower worked great for me last year. No chains, 4wd was perfect. Much better than my Deere LX188 with road damaging chains. Removed mower deck and mounted blower last weekend. The engine exhuast pipe was very close to snowblower frame, I trimmed my pipe back about 1-1/2". May want to check yours. Philip.

I just finished the second season with my GR2120.It has 67 hours and is the best lawn tractor I have ever used.The only issue I have had is rusting of the metal seat pan.The seat was replaced under warranty without any hassles.

Same here Phil. No chains needed. I have the weights on the back and it has all the traction it needs. I blow a path for the guy that delivers my propane, and the tank is about 150 feet from the road, when i think he's coming. Usually 2+ feet of snow in that area on grass. No issues at all.
Only thing that happend to the blower last winter was the chain lost it's connector.
BTW: I'm sure you know this, but it needs chainsaw oil every 4 hours...
As far as the exhaust pipe goes....i dont have that issue for some reason...

Got a bit of snow and looked forward to giving the GR a workout. Somehow it felt like it wasn't really performing very impressively. When i was done, i noticed that one of the sheer-pins was gone. Dealer wants 5.65 for one of them. Guess I'll get a couple extra.

I have only had the fan bolt shear on mine, but I keep several of each in a plactic bag under my seat, just in case. Philip.

Oh my.....5.88 + 13% Tax for a sheerbolt up here in canada. 2.80 at a kubota dealer in Ohio. I knew we're getting hosed up here, but it's hard getting used to it!
Think i'll just buy one of them tomorrow and pick up a few on my next trip to OH next month

Hopefully I was able to attach the photos of the new Fan and Hub assembly. As you will see it is quite different. The shear pin is still the same. Also I added a shot of what you have to "look forward" to. Good luck with the new orange tractor.

That black part is the updated part i take it.......which is the same on mine, but it's orange, which means it came out of the factory that way. Looked mine over today, since i have to replace a sheer pin and noticed that that vertical bolt showing is not there, just the horizontal one. Nothing turns by hand, thinking if lost that bolt, i should be able to turn it like the auger i lost the pin from is. Got me wondering now......
Philip...can you take a look at on yours for me and see if yours is the same as on mine on the pic below or as in the picture above?

Looks like you are missing the bolt that connects the shaft to the hub. Lossened up and came out? That is not a shear bolt. Do you have parts manual? Will be in there. The shear bolt is connecting the two flanges, in your picture at two o-clock. Philip.
