I closely resemble the young kid in that movie... I would have been one year younger. Except for the seniors paddling the freshmen, that movie was pretty much identical to how our high school was, right down to the various characters. It was close to a documentary. :thumbsup:

Within a few years.....marijuana will be legal at the federal level.....once that happens....all states will be growing it. Our state has created another huge bureaucracy to license and control it.....like most government agencies....they are already creating a nightmare. We have legal growers in our area.....one guy is spending over $5 million building three big greenhouses. From a construction perspective......the new industry has been a big job creator in our area. It's a legal crop in our state....like apples. Other states will soon follow.....they'll want the revenue.

What amazes me is how that industry can plan to survive charging $300/oz for something that you can grow in a closet and yield an ounce or two a month.

I used to brew beer and it looks like growing good marijuana is easier than brewing good beer.

I used to brew beer and it looks like growing good marijuana is easier than brewing good beer.

I don't use the stuff but we do have a legal store about 1/2 mile from our home.......don't know what they charge. For what's it worth......I love home brewed beer and micro brews.....good stuff!!!!!:drink:

Anyone think of the growing ability of the Feds to intimidate, or blackmail those involved in these illegal activities. "Give to this politician or we'll throw you in jail on federal drug trafficking charges". You don't realize that selective law enforcement is dangerous to our system of government. It's not social justice we seek, it's individual justice. HS

Well yes, I've been there, but not very often. I just don't play golf. About six holes and I'm done - just doesn't hold my interest. However, I manage a large charity golf event each year [raises around $40K in a day for Leukemia] and I will admit I join in the liquid cheer. And once all is underway, I just love driving the beer cart around the course -- man does that make you feel popular.
